5 Interesting Things That Happened on Day 2 of One Lagos Fiesta

Riding on the excitement of the first day of One Lagos Fiesta, Day 2 did not disappoint Lagosians as it not only matched but also surpassed expectations.

With about 50,000 people in attendance in all 5 locations, from Badagry to Epe, Agege, Ikorodu, and Victoria Island, the second day of the biggest crossover celebration in Nigeria was packed with surprise performances.

Here are the highlights of Day 2 of One Lagos Fiesta:

  • Tony Tetuila, Earthquake, Humblesmith, Ara and her talking drum

Badagry was served with unforgettable music from Tony Tetuila, Earthquake, and Ara, while Humblesmith brought on the energetic vibe of the new school.

Can you remember this @TonyTetuila song? #OneLagosFiesta #Badagry

  • The Governor in Epe

Getting to watch the Incredible MI and Adekunle Gold perform was just icing on the cake for the people of Epe. They were later honoured by the presence of the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode who showed up at the town’s Recreational Centre without prior notice.

  • Double Delight …

From giving the children the time of their lives at the kiddies Christmas event earlier in the day, to witnessing the energetic performance of Naija Ninja, Sound Sultan on stage, attendees of One Lagos Fiesta at Agege had a great outing on Day 2.

  • Farouk Makes It To The Finals

Remember 9-year-old wonder kid, Farouk Sulaimon who won the hearts of Lagosians during the Lagos Got Talentauditions? He made it to the finals after giving a brilliant performance on the Ikorodu stage!

  • The Inter-tribal Rap Battle

At Bar Beach, Victoria Island, Lagosians were reminded of the beauty and diversity of the state, when Hausa, Igbo, and Yoruba rappers stepped to the stage to showcase their rap skills.

And because Lagos is the state where dreams come through, kids who came out for One Lagos Fiesta at Victoria Island were treated to a Christmas delight to rival Disney World.

The kids are not left out of the fun at #onelagosfiesta.
